What is your lodging like?
Dormitory Style carpeted cabins with 10-12 beds, bunkbeds, heaters, comfortable mattresses and bathrooms in each cabin. Three single rooms with a queen size bed with linens and towels in the private bathroom. See more details here.
How many people can you accommodate?
We have several options for lodging and meetings spaces and can accommodate groups up to 250 persons.
What sort of activities are there at Koinonia?
Ballfield for field games, sand volleyball courts, ping pong tables, corn hole sets, foosball table, full size basketball courts, campfire areas, pool (May – October), hiking trails and for an additional fee laser tag and high ropes courses. See more here.
What is the weather typically like at Koinonia?
Cool in the morning and night and warm throughout the day. Rain during December through March.
Is there cell service?
No cell service, but reliable wifi.
What are the meeting rooms like?
Each room has a projection unit with mixing board, speakers and sound equipment. You must bring your own instruments. For information on specific meeting rooms check this out.
What time is arrival or departure?
Weekend arrival time for guest is 6pm Friday and departure time is 2pm Sunday. Each specific group may vary. Check with your group leader for retreat group specifics.
What must I bring?
General lodging you must bring sleeping bag or linens, pillow, towel and toiletries. Warm clothes for the evenings and mornings. Check with group leader for your retreat group specifics.
Can I bring my dog?
No pets allowed. Only certified service animals.
What is the food like?
